Old Mill Wedding Media

I was so excited to hear that I was photographing Doug and Devon’s wedding! We immediately hit it off at their engagement session and I got to know their little Riley. I think anyone who has met me knows I’m a huge dog fan, so I had a great time working with all three of them then.

So finally, the big day arrived! We started off covering the guys getting ready at Doug and Devon’s house in Wilmington and Riley was a complete model! She was sitting and posing for me every time I turned to her!

Nikki of LovelyGirls Events arrived and immediately helped Doug and the guys put on their boutonnieres. One of the best wedding planners I have met to date. Her helpfulness and attention to detail, plus her choice of chic accents throughout the day made it a dream to work with her!

After the guys finished up formals, we headed over to Devon’s parents to get photos of the lovely ladies getting ready! Her details were full of bright peach and deep navy, with stark white to contrast! LovelyGirls’ Liza did the beautiful floral arrangements!

And then straight off to the Old Mill in Rose Valley for the first “no peeking” meeting!

Devon and Doug headed in two different directions to make sure the surprise wasn’t ruined until the ceremony. So we then headed to the ceremony site to get photos of the gorgeous aisle and guests arriving.

Needless to say, they had GOOD food that day! 😀 Thanks, Conner Catering!

Nikki and Devon worked so hard to get together all of the reception details, all filled with bursts of color and hints of metallic. We headed over to the reception to see how it all came together!

The floor was packed, thanks to the awesome emcees at Synergetic Sound and Lighting!
