"One image could bring back so many emotions and memories that would've otherwise been forgotten."
One of my fondest memories as a child was when my grandfather visited America & took me out to see the paintings & sculptures of the Art Museum in Philadelphia. I had always loved art, but that visit opened my eyes to all the possibilities creativity can accomplish. From then on, I experimented with various mediums of artistic expression, always coming back to photography. There was something so fascinating about preserving a moment...a glance...a feeling in an instant. One image could bring back so many emotions & memories that would've otherwise been forgotten. I soon knew what my calling was. I was to create artfully made, meaningful images to share with everyone I met.
I began my formal study of photography in college, while also learning from masters of photojournalism in the streets of Philadelphia. I started to explore styled fashion shoots with a talented network of models, stylists, & designers. These studies gave forth my unique approach to photography, by blending candid photojournalism with posed stylistic portraits. My photography has been featured in various publications & galleries, including Main Line Today, The Grand Opera House in Wilmington, Delaware Bride, 55 Hours Weekly, Around Main Line, & the Wilmington Art Crawl. I'm a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America & am fully insured and licensed.
I currently reside with my husband & pup in the beautiful city of Charleston, SC.
