Carmen and Christopher had their micro-wedding at the charming Upstairs at Midtown, along with their sweet little girl! The day was full of sentimental details and so much joy! Keeping their guestlist small allowed such a cozy, intimate affair, with so much time enjoying every moment with family and friends! I got to know them over the course of planning their wedding and photographing Carmen’s bridals and their engagement session and we just clicked immediately! Showing up that day felt like celebrating with old friends! <3
Carmen just looked stunning in her gown!
Their adorable flowergirls, including their little girl, P! She was so happy to see her beautiful mama!
Christopher was able to say hi to his little girl and Carmen’s dad on the way to our spot of groom portraits, such a great moment! He looked dapper in his navy suit!
As we were getting ready for Carmen’s dad to see her for the first time, I had to snap some shots with him and Carmen’s mom! They just beam love for each other, couple goals! And then when Carmen showed up, tears were flowing for everyone!
An embroidered tie with a love note is such a thoughtful gift for the father of the bride! And a sweet moment between mother and daughter as well, right after!
Another sentimental detail, having Carmen’s grandmother’s name embroidered into her wedding dress, along with her wearing the same family rings as her sister and mother.
These girls were just gorgeous in this shade of pink!
Adorable P seeing her dad after walking down the aisle! <3
Newlywed portraits in downtown Charleston mean roaming the alleyways for picturesque backdrops!
A wedding at Midtown can’t be complete without rooftop portraits at sunset!
Another great detail was having a balloon exit instead of sparklers, right after everyone had the Chick-Fila late night snacks! It was so much fun! Congrats, newlyweds!
