Magnolia Plantation

As a Charleston wedding photographer, I love to get to know each and every couple of mine.  While this builds friendships, it also allows me to learn about each unique wedding day, to capture it fully for the couple. So when I was talking with Nikki, I learned that they wanted to have a very ethereal wedding, based on fairy tales. What better venue to host this occasion than Magnolia Plantation?  It has extensive, gorgeous gardens and oak trees. Duvall Catering also did a fantastic job catering, planning, and doing the florals for the wedding. Fairy tale quotes, delicate lights at each centerpiece, and vintage decor made this day a magical one! Nikki also lost her shoe while walking down the aisle with Sam, a truly Cinderella moment!

I absolutely love the sparkle of her white shoes!Signs were propped on old vintage barrels around the ceremony site.
I love the simple vest look for groomsmen, especially when it’s a hot Charleston wedding! Sam sees his bride for the very first time!

This oak tree was so majestic, I had to do Charleston wedding party photos under its hanging branches and spanish moss! Nikki wore a beautiful gown bought at Wedding Dress Me in North Carolina!

Nikki requested such a sweet photo of her grandmother’s ring, her mother’s ring, and her ring. Three generations in one photo! Once we finished up with family portraits, we grabbed a golf cart and explored the beautiful areas of Magnolia Plantation. Our first stop was the iconic white bridge!

This whimsical gazebo was picture perfect fitting into Nikki and Sam’s ethereal wedding style. This flowergirl was the sweetest and had so much fun with the “Fairy Wand” Nikki gave her to have! Geometric shaped glass cases accented the decor throughout the reception with moss and delicate string lights. Cheerwine in vintage bottles were given to each of the guests at the reception!
As a dog lover, I absolutely adored the framed photo of Nikki and Sam’s pup at their sweetheart table.
