Carrie and Donny’s wedding day was a dream to cover! (Check out Carrie’s Bridal Session here) Each little detail was so thoughtfully presented to the guests and the day was filled with laughter and joy! I’m so glad we were able to be a part of this special day for the two newlyweds! The ceremony was at Lewes Historical Society, followed by a private estate reception. Meg Gardner of Blue Moon was there every step of the way with a wonderful staff and delicious food, while Good Foot played amazing music the whole night long!
We started at the house, where Carrie and Donny’s sweet St. Bernard, Millie, was about, helping the girls get ready!
Their day was filled by amazing classic cars, so I had to grab a shot with the guys when we arrived at the Lewes Historical Society!
The ceremony location was in front of the bright white doctor’s office, with accents of white and purple flowers, as well as ferns everywhere!
All guests were given a packet of lilac to throw to the newlyweds at the end of the ceremony!
My second photographer, Maggie Jones, was able to get great shots of the ringbearer ringing the bell!
Having fun in the old country store!
Then off to Cape Henlopen for some more formals with their purple classic car!
The colors came together beautifully in the centerpieces and each guest had a small plant and a bag of chocolates for themselves!
Such a creative idea for the seating chart and escort cards!
A framed photo from our engagement session with Millie! And Maggie was able to grab a shot of our online gallery cards for the guests to take home with info on when and where the photos would be ready!
Always thinking of their guests, Carrie and Donny had a great childrens’ table that had cameras and custom coloring books! Good foot was amazing! Yummy deserts after the cake cutting by Blue Moon!
I loved the expression of the flowergirl after she caught the bouquet, so adorable! Congrats, Carrie and Donny!
