Brittany had her gorgeous bridal portrait taken at Hampton Park! We basically had the whole park to ourselves and the lighting was just magical! Hampton Park is such a stunning spot, since it has all the Lowcountry natural elements in one spot, like spanish moss, lush greens, and grand oaks! One of my favorite portrait sessions is bridal, the bride can get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding, pair her trial of makeup and/or florals, and just have some exciting moments feeling like a bride before the busy wedding day arrives! It also allows for more time with different backgrounds and posing, compared to the wedding day, where bridals are often scheduled along with the newlywed and groom portraits. And after everything is all done, I absolutely love walking up to the ceremony or reception and see that gorgeous bridal portrait framed and shown for the guests arriving. Truly a southern charm in the wedding day!
While we do get traditional posing done, I also love to bring some motion into the photos as well. Twirling your beautiful dress or walking along a picturesque pathway breathes life into the photos!
We lucked out with the fountain operating and the pink dogwood trees blooming! Both such spectacular backgrounds for gorgeous Brittany!
And a portrait session at Hampton Park can’t be complete without some photos amongst the grand oak tree branches! Doesn’t she look amazing?
