Heather and Chris got married under an oak tree at the Dunes West Club in Mt Pleasant.
I shot for Lindsay of Lo Photo at this stunning Charleston wedding.
We captured photos of Heather getting her hair styled. Once she was all ready, she met Chris outside for their “no peeking” meeting. I love these moments.
A “no peeking” meeting is the perfect option for couples who don’t want to do a first look. This still gives them some quiet time together to hold each other’s hands or exchange love notes.

I loved capturing this adorable moment between mother and daughter during the family formals! Heather’s bouquet had a beautiful pop of color with blue and orange flowers. There were such adorable flower girls and a little ringbearer that day. We used this beautiful ivy wall to keep Chris from seeing his Charleston bride before the ceremony. The ceremony under the big oak tree had elegant, feminine elements of decor around, like this crystal chandelier. Chris was smiling ear to ear the entire day! Could these flowergirls and ringbearer get any cuter? Nope! The oak tree was perfect for such a large wedding party and was right by the water. An absolute dream of a wedding! Heather’s mom wore such an elegant sequined dress as the mother of the bride. Heather and Chris sign the license to make it official, before we started with formals of the newlyweds together! The Spanish moss was a gorgeous backdrop for this romantic kiss!
Can you tell I love those ivy walls? We finished the newlywed portraits with Chris dipping his new wife, before heading off to the reception!
Congrats to the happy couple, Heather and Chris!
