Christopher, Carmen, and their sweet little girl, P captured photos all around the iconic roads of downtown Charleston on the Battery! We planned for the Couture collection to give ample time for walking and outfit changes (P had the most adorable outfits lined up, what a sweetheart!). You can always count on big oak trees, gorgeous driveways, and impeccable staircases downtown, everywhere you turn! This session also was done for Carmen and Christopher’s engagement photos for their upcoming wedding, along with family portraits for this crew of three! We did about half the session for engagement photos and the other half with sweet P, a perfect blend of frameable portraits for them to use and display in their home! The lush greenery found all over downtown Charleston, with ivy walls and stairs, is the perfect backdrop for engagement photos or family portraits! This little family also knew how to coordinate without being too matching. Remember to stick to the complementary colors or different shades of one color instead of exact matches and stay away from super trends and clothing brands and logos that could date your photos! Following these rules will give you the best end result of timeless photos of your family for years to come!
