I absolutely love when I’m working with other Charleston business women to get the branding photography they need! Madison is a gem of a person, super considerate, insightful, and a joy to work with! She has her yoga and spiritual wellness instruction, so we needed a very peaceful green space for our photo session. I immediately thought of Washington Square Park, a beautiful spot hidden within downtown Charleston. For some reason, it is always peaceful and quiet without the tourist crowds!
One of the most important planning aspects of a branding session is to find key elements of the business to showcase during the shoot, whether it is the important office, a certain tool of the trade, or even yoga poses like Madison’s shoot here. It elevates the session higher than the standard headshot and is much more diverse in usage for website, social media, and other branding/marketing avenues!
We started off with her beads and oils for her Charleston branding session, both essential to her spiritual instruction –
To give some action to her branding images, we had her pose for her favorite yoga poses in front of a beautiful Charleston building in the park –
I loved this spot with all the Azeleas in bloom. It was fully spring in Charleston, along with the perfect weather for our session!
Finally, we finished with a few different poses in her regular clothing (outside of yoga wear) all around the park for some variety! These shots help with About sections of websites or an intro post on social media –
