Hampton Park is easily one of my favorite spots as an engagement photographer, so when Laura and Nick wanted to get photos in our city, that was the first location I suggested! We started there and then headed to the Waterfront Park and surrounding area of Charleston. I also love that they brought multiple outfits to change things up! If you have an hour or longer session, feel free to ask if we have time for an outfit change before your session, you most likely will have time for at least one change and it is so worth it! Nick loves the Chubbies brand too, so to make it personal, we took some fun photos with them wearing matching Chubbies! How cute is that?
All the plants and flowers were blooming in the park that day and we had the most perfect weather!
A few photos under all the spanish moss, followed by photos under the grand oak tree branches!
They were so adorable, playful and totally in love! How fun are these sets with Chubbies shorts?
We then headed to the Waterfront Park downtown in Charleston and explored the surrounding streets before heading to the iconic pineapple fountain! Right at golden hour with that magical light!
And with any engagement session, I love getting ring photos if we get a chance! How beautiful is this one on the textured wood of a grand oak tree?
Can’t have engagement photos at this park without the Pineapple Fountain!
These benches lining the park are one of my favorite spots to watch the water, especially at sunset! So picturesque!
Congrats to Laura and Nick, hope your wedding is epic! So glad you chose our beautiful city for your engagement photos!
