Kate Timbers felt the call to Charleston, SC after one too many ice storms in PA. She packed up her things, while her husband loaded their dog and two birds into a tiny little car. As she drove away, she saw icy roads fade from view in the rear-view mirror. On to sunnier days and a relaxed way of life.

On to Charleston.

And the effects of long-needed sunshine and good Southern food were immediate. But that didn't mean she needed to stop working. She had run her successful photography studio in PA for 7+ years. She had launched her destination wedding branch for 3 years. She had traveled to Paris, Greece, the Caribbean Islands, and all over the US. All for photography and the embrace of adventure.

That type of passion doesn't go away.

It didn't hurt that Charleston is one of the most picturesque, vibrant cities in the world. It was not the time or place to let her passion go to waste. She changed her photography business name from "Kate's Lens" to "Kate Timbers Photography". This Charleston version 2.0 will be more personal, more spirited, more true to Kate than it ever has been.

It will focus only the avenues of photography that makes her heart swell. Boudoir, weddings, and commercial photo work. Nothing more, nothing less.

Kate Timbers is a Charleston, SC wedding photographer by the weekend. She is a Boudoir photographer by weekday. She is a Commercial photographer every day, covering music, fashion, and local businesses.
And that makes her new life in Charleston, South Carolina so much richer with each passing moment.
