One of the first Charleston weddings I covered started at the College of Charleston Cistern, second shooting with the amazingly talented Dana Cubbage (link)!
View Amy and Seth’s College of Charleston Cistern wedding –
Seth got ready at his parents’ bright home in James Island, before heading to the Cistern for the first look. This first look was so sweet, Amy seeing her husband to be for the first time that day! Their height difference was SO adorable! This ivy wall was just calling for a portrait of these two by it!
Amy looked absolutely gorgeous in her lace and beaded gown. Amy and the girls’ flowers were absolutely stunning! The aquamarine and pink combination is so preppy and fresh! And the ladies looked great all through downtown Charleston! I loved this secret little detail of a fabric flower holding the bouquets together! <3 Bethel United Methodist was a historic Charleston church with so much beauty in its decor. And finally, off to James Island Yacht Club for the reception. It had the best view of the water and the Ravenel Bridge in the distance! Spanish moss in all the adorable details! This cake was incredible! The feminine color, along with gold flakes and a vintage bride and groom cake topper. Simply gorgeous! Guests mingling under the big oak tree during cocktail hour. The sun was shining, as Amy and Seth had their first dance! This band was great! I was chatting with them at the wedding. They are based in Columbia, but travel all over the place! So much energy and fun! Check the Finesse Band at www.thefinesseband.com!
